Text Box: 2010 Dues Dues for 2010 are now being accepted. Dues are only $15 per household. Monies collected from dues helps to support the operation of the Civic League to include plantings and lighting for the entranceway, printing of newsletters, meeting hospitality, and special projects like the new entranceway sign.

The milling, which is the first phase of paving, (has begun).  As the streets are in pretty bad shape, the next phase which is patching and leveling may take a while.  It is anticipated that the final paved surface will be completed by the end of June.

Because of how high the lots are in Birchwood Gardens compared to the roads, the paving work was delayed because of how wet the ground under the pavement was following the extremely wet winter.  If they had come in to do the work before it dried out, it would have been a big mess and the work would have taken longer.  We agree, this area is definitely in need of paving, and if the weather cooperates, work will begin this week.
